Pet Bed made out of Suitcase

Pet Bed made out of Suitcase

If you have a pet, this piece will be a great complement to your loving home! 🙂

This playful pet bed is made out of a leather suitcase and recycled furniture legs painted in turquoise.
I’ve added handmade drawer (covered with paint and varnish) for a storage space. Also there’s a cushion with two cases – owl print and turquoise – with zippers for easy maintenance.
The suitcase itself has been reinforced with two plywood sheets – painted and varnished – one is placed inside of the suitcase, the other underneath it.

All of my makes are available here.

And if you would like to do some makeovers of your own, here’s some tutorials.

Corner Shelf made out of Instrument Case

Corner Shelf made out of Instrument Case

This ordinary and neglected instrument case is now transformed into unique corner shelf unit!

I decoupaged the inside of the unit with old books, magazines pages and the table on the top with old Cambridge center map. All decoupage was then covered with matt varnish for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Shelves were made of 9mm plywood, subtly dyed white and covered with wax.
There is a small metal fitting on the side off the unit, signed by previous owner “Paul” 🙂
